Ashley Goltermann has loved animals her entire life. In both her professional and personal life she has always advocated for the most vulnerable. Even as a small child, she would train the family dog and put on shows in front of her neighborhood.

Ashley has over fifteen years of experience working with dogs professionally. During this time she has been a dog bather and professional groomer. She has also dedicated almost a decade to working in a local animal hospital. She has also spent time as a dog sitter, dog walker, and dog training apprentice.

Ashley has experience with all types of dogs - from Cane Corsos to Russian Toys. She currently owns three toy poodles: Ryker, Cash, and Auguste. Ryker has had congenital eye issues and went completely blind several years ago. Ashley has worked diligently to adapt and enrich his life despite this hurdle.

In 2022, Ashley was able to get her dream dog - a standard poodle which she named Freyja. Freyja has excelled in obedience, parkour, scent work, farm dog, trick dog, home manners, fit dog, and so many other sports/activities she’s tried.

Ashley believes strongly in choosing the dog that fits your lifestyle, working together with your dog as a team, and that failure is part of learning. Ultimately, dog training should be fun!
